I can’t seem to get mountains off my mind!  Here were these pieces of glass, odds and ends from other projects and even from some boxes of mosaic pieces “scored” at an estate sale…and that awesome deep blue-green piece – and I saw it!  The colors, the hues, the vistas, the textures, the richness found in the tree line of a mountain side!  You can see it all in this abstract piece – deep green pine trees, fallen logs, the rich grassy carpet of a clearing, a bright red bloom, the sparkling water of a stream, massive rocks, the pure blue of the sky, and even the jagged edges of glacial ice.  Peace and serenity envelope us in places like this!  The wonder of creation permeates places like this!  When we are in the valleys of life, we long for a place like this!

Panel measures 5 1\/4 inches by 8 1\/4 inches, excluding the chain.  The piece is done in the Tiffany method, with a lead came frame for strength.  The chain for hanging is included.  I tried to capture how the light passes through all the different pieces of glass by photographing the panel from different angles.
