Gentle winged creatures invite us into their simple, quiet lives in these wabi-sabi inspired artworks. Looking at these pieces is like taking a walk along a wooded trail. Scientific research has proven that nature has a calming effect to our inner being, and calm is what this art collage brings to any room it hangs in.

In this piece, vintage novel pages, Japanese text, scrap papers, and rice watercolor paper printed with a little sparrow mix with mulberry paper scraps (a Japanese style paper).  Vintage linen holds a small scroll adding more oriental flair to the piece.  Small twigs add the element of nature.  Deep texture is achieved  by building up the background in the same color as the 140 lb. cold press paper base.

The frame is included and are included in the dimensions. Signed and dated on the front.

Artwork is inspired by this verse of Scripture:  “Even the sparrow has found a home; and the swallow a nest for herself.  Psalm 84:3.”
