When I painted the original, I was on a journey – I planned to do a watercolor face on a vintage novel page from 1891… when a mad urge to experiment hit my heart (perhaps Holy Spirit bubbling?) After the face was complete, I was struck with the desire to play with my new gold gesso. Realizing that would mean I would end up covering the entire page of text – I discovered a phrase that I could later expose – and actually reduced that phrase to one powerful word – WONDER! Clearly the Spirit was directing!

Angels are God’s messengers, singing His praises and joining us as we worship as well! As I was preparing this piece, the verse “”I look up to the hills, where does my help come from?” (Psalm 121:1) was in the back of my mind…

All my prints are printed with high quality ink on luxurious Kodak Endura Professional Paper and packaged in a protective sleeve with rigid backing.. Of course, the watermarks will not appear on your purchased item…
